This product’s trade name is not set in type on this page: its official written form is not yet confirmed, so the product is introduced by description until it is.

What the product is

It is built on microorganisms that degrade petroleum hydrocarbons. It is applied as part of a designed bioremediation process, not as a standalone additive dropped onto a site.

How the product performs, and how it should be applied, depends on the contaminant, the hydrocarbon concentration, the character of the soil or waste, and the conditions on site — and has to be assessed per project. No performance figure on this page is offered as a guarantee of result.

Application areas

Where it is applied

The areas the company’s documentation records for this product.

  • Petroleum-contaminated soil

  • Oily sludge

  • Oil-based drilling mud waste

  • Oily wastewater

  • Aerobic bioremediation processes

  • Biopile and landfarming, as part of the project design

How it is applied

The method is set per project. Dose, preparation and the order of the stages follow from the site assessment and the sampling results; they are part of the process design rather than a general instruction sheet.

  • Method chosen after site assessment and sampling
  • Applied inside the project’s process design, with periodic monitoring
  • Application protocol supplied during technical review of the project

Field trial

Alongside the executed projects, the product has been applied in a field trial on marked-out, cordoned plots. The photographs below show how those plots were laid out on site.

The protocol for this trial and its measured results are not yet approved for publication, so no figure from it appears on this page. Nor is either plot labelled as the control or the treated one: the available documentation does not record which was which.
