Credentials

The documents, as they were issued

The company’s supporting documents are reproduced here in full. Each is shown as the kind of document it is, with its issuer and its own date beside it, and none is promoted into something it is not.

What is published

The executed record comes first

The case studies below show how the work actually ran: the state of the site before it started, the method used, IEBCO’s contractual role, and what was measured. The supporting documents follow further down this page.

Supporting documents

Each document as what it is

These come from the company’s official records and are shown without cropping or alteration. Each carries its own date beside it. None of them is a current permit, an independent product certificate or an international approval. All of them are in Persian.

The marks, seals, signatures and contact details visible in the footers of these letters belong to the organisations that issued them, not to IEBCO. They appear only inside the document each is printed on, and are used nowhere else on this site as an IEBCO credential.

  • A scan of the research award from the sixth Ministry of Petroleum Research and Technology Festival — an ornate gold certificate in Persian, signed at the foot.
    Research award

Research award, sixth Ministry of Petroleum Research and Technology Festival

    Subject, translated from the Persian

Design and production of a powdered microbial sample for the removal of petroleum contamination in the liquid and solid phase

    Issued by
    Ministry of Petroleum
    Document date
    1393

A research award: it names a research project as a leading technical research project in the oil industry. It is addressed to the project’s executor and colleagues and does not name the company. It is not a product certificate, and it certifies no product’s performance.

  • A scan of a Persian letter on Iranian Oil Terminals Company letterhead, with inspection marks across the foot of the page.
    Field-test letter

Internal letter on the field test of the microbial powder

    Subject, translated from the Persian

Confirmation of the field test of the research project “Design and production of a powdered microbial product sample for the removal of petroleum contamination in the liquid and solid phase”

    Issued by
    Iranian Oil Terminals Company
    Document date
    1392/11/29
    Letter number
    ۴۸۲/ب ك/۹۲

Written inside the issuing organisation, and it does not name IEBCO anywhere in its text — the connection to this company runs through the contract number alone. It is therefore not offered as standalone evidence of IEBCO’s field test. The inspection marks in the footer belong to that same organisation.

  • A scan of a Persian letter on Department of Environment letterhead, signed in the middle of the page.
    Environmental review letter

Department of Environment review letter on the microbial powder

    Subject, translated from the Persian

The Department of Environment’s reply concerning the production process and the effectiveness of the microbial powder for degrading petroleum contamination

    Issued by
    Department of Environment
    Document date
    1393/11/29
    Letter number
    ۹۳/۵۸۰۸۸

Its text states that the production process and the effectiveness of the product are approved by that organisation. It is a letter from 1393: not a permit, not a licence, not a current approval, and it says nothing about validity today.

  • A scan of a Persian satisfaction letter on Iranian Oil Terminals Company letterhead, with a fax header strip across the top and a signature in the middle of the page.
    Client satisfaction letter

Supplier satisfaction letter, Iranian Oil Terminals Company

    Subject, translated from the Persian

    Supplier satisfaction

    Issued by
    Iranian Oil Terminals Company
    Document date
    1397/02/08
    Gregorian equivalent
    2018-04-28
    Letter number
    ۱۵۴/۷ ب م پ م/۹۷

In it the client confirms use of the microbial powder in cleaning contaminated soil on Kharg Island. That is one client’s confirmation of performance — not an independent product certificate, and not a result generalised to all conditions. The address and phone in the footer are that company’s, not IEBCO’s.

  • A scan of Persian minutes on National Iranian Oil Company and Iranian Oil Terminals Company letterhead, with a date, subject and location table at the top and four handwritten signatures below.
    Field-test minutes

Minutes of the BioOSD field test on Kharg Island

    Subject, translated from the Persian

Field test of the product of the project “Technical know-how development and production of a biologically based oil-slick dispersant, phase two: production of a semi-industrial sample”

    Issued by
    Iranian Oil Terminals Company
    Document date
    1396/03/29

Minutes No. 2 of Iranian Oil Terminals Company, drawn up at the HSE department of Kharg oil terminal. They record that, after phase two of the development project was completed, its product was field-tested on 1396/03/29 on the Azarpad shore of Kharg Island, in the presence of the head and experts of the HSE department, an R&D expert and the project executor, and that the test was completed successfully. No measured result is recorded. IEBCO is not named in the text; the link to the company is that phase-two contract. These are minutes of a test, not a product certificate.

  • A scan of a Persian letter on Department of Environment letterhead, addressed to the company’s CEO and signed below the text.
    Environmental review letter

Department of Environment review letter on the marine oil-slick dispersant

    Subject, translated from the Persian

The Department of Environment’s reply concerning the production process and the effectiveness of the microbial marine oil-slick dispersant

    Issued by
    Department of Environment
    Document date
    1394/10/05
    Letter number
    ۹۴/۴۶۶۹۳

The Department’s reply to the company’s letter on the technical development, localisation and production of a microbial oil-slick dispersant for use at sea — the product now supplied as BioOSD. Its text states that the production process and the effectiveness of the product are approved by that organisation. It is a letter from 1394: not a permit, not a licence, not a current approval, and it says nothing about validity today.

  • A printout of a knowledge-based company approval page, with a table of company details at the top and a list of explanatory clauses below it.
    Knowledge-based approval

    Knowledge-based company approval

    Subject, translated from the Persian

    Knowledge-based company approval

    Issued by
Knowledge-Based Companies and Institutions Evaluation Working Group
    Document date
    1401/09/26

An approval of the COMPANY, dated 1401/09/26, of the type “production, type 1”, in the field of biotechnology, agriculture and food industries. The document itself states that it does not necessarily mean every product and service of the company is knowledge-based, so it certifies no particular product. This page makes no claim about its validity today; the approval can be checked on pub.daneshbonyan.ir.

The rules these documents are shown under

  1. Each document as what it is

A research award, a field-test letter or minutes, an environmental review letter, a client satisfaction letter and a knowledge-based approval are different things, and are never shown under one shared label.

  2. The date stays visible

A historical letter is not presented as a current permit. The date and the scope of each document are shown alongside it.

  3. A satisfaction letter is not a product certificate

Performance confirmed by one client does not become an independent product certification, and a result from one application is not generalised to all conditions.

  4. A third party’s mark is not ours

A logo, stamp or inspection mark belonging to an issuing organisation is seen only inside its own document. It is never lifted out of that document, and never presented as an IEBCO credential.
